Player Recruitment

Our program will emphasize 4 main areas of recruiting to build our program and provide the best opportunities for our players.

Youth Programs

We will look for every opportunity to get students involved in football from a young age. This will include attending and helping with events such as the flag football camps and any of the youth programs available.  We may also draw from this group to find ball boys and create opportunities for these players to be on the sideline at our games, most importantly by hosting a Braves Players recognition night at one of our home games.

Middle School

In middle school, this is the most important place to emphasize the benefits, mentality, and atmosphere we offer so that players aspire to be members of our program.  By building relationships with both middle school coaches and players, we will work to draw as many athletes and players as possible into our program.

High School

Recruiting players in high school is two fold. Not only do we aim to recruit players in our building to come out for football, we HAVE to continuously recruit players currently in our program. These players have to understand they are the most important piece of our program.  They are valued and they are not dropped the minute the season is over or when they go to another sport.  The players on our team will be our top priority in off season recruiting to help them see the value in the work they have put in to continue throughout their time in high school.

College

We will have some players hoping to play at the next level. Part of our offseason focus will be gauging player interest in playing at the next level, and providing opportunities for players to talk with coaches and find their opportunity. Ideally, I would like to work with these players as well as create an opportunity for someone in our program to become the recruiting coordinator and help manage the player/college interaction.Â
