Football Philosophy

The four primary measures of a successful offense.

1. Run the ball when you want to.

2. Run the ball when you have to.

3. Pass the ball when you want to.

4. Pass the ball when you have to.

Everything on defense centers on taking the ball away.  We must get the ball back in our offense's hands. Takeaways are critical to winning football games, and that means being physical, confident, and rallying to the ball on every play. 

Within 6 primary special teams units (Punt/ Punt Return/ Kickoff/ Kickoff Return/ PAT/ PAT Block) there are 11 positions per group with a total of 66 opportunities for players to get on the field to impact the game. This is where we can develop players best beyond those playing offense or defense.
