Campus Involvement

As a teacher and coach in the building, I hope to spend time building a foundation with students and faculty.  By being a positive presence on campus, I hope to draw in students and other faculty into that positive presence and create a great atmosphere in the school that draws people to the football program. Anyone that is a part of our program on campus should create opportunities for positive associations with the football program.

Student Section

The high school football experience is for the students first and foremost. This is both for players and fans.  To help build on the current student experience at football games, money through boosters will be allocated for “super fan” gear for a select number of students who are both enthusiastic and respectful at all football competitions.

Faculty

As faculty continue to grow and shape our young athletes, they are often forgotten as people who heavily impact our student athletes.  I also want to have an open door policy for all faculty who have concerns regarding our athletes. To honor faculty that have made a difference in our athletes lives, we will have a teacher appreciation week where seniors will take an opportunity to honor faculty members that have impacted them positively during their time in high school.

Managers

Another way to help expand the reach of the football program is to bring in student managers. The more the better, but any way to get more students involved with the program who might not otherwise be a part of football. There are many roles a student manager can fill such as filming practice, putting out and collecting practice equipment, helping with water, etc. Anyone who wants to help with the program will be welcomed and utilized.

Internships

We will offer internship opportunities to non-players. This allows students to be part of our team beyond competition.  Our intern program will include photography, videography, technology, and other opportunities based on the skill sets of our student body and program needs.
