Transition Plan
7 day plan
There are three primary goals in the first week
Send out introduction letters to teachers, players, and parents.
Meet with administration, existing staff members, boosters, and players.
Set date for parent meeting (after introduction letter and video are sent out)
First Administration Meeting
Review Athletic Director and Principal goals for the program.
Discuss my goals and vision for the program and how they align.
Learn and Establish all building protocols that may directly or indirectly impact the program.
Look into issues or concerns that need to be addressed.
Go over calendar and adjust as needed.
First Staff Meeting
Meet with and establish relationship with current coaches.
Discover goals of each coach and discuss professional development options.
Assess experience, strengths, weaknesses, and best fit within the program.
First Booster Meeting
Review the current state of equipment, facilities, and uniforms.
Discuss areas of need in the program.Â
Collaborate on ideas for fundraising that align with current and future budget.
Find the best path forward that unites the tradition of the program with the next steps of the program.
First Player Meeting
Introduce myself and review my experience
Lay out expectations for myself and the team.
Collect information and goals for themselves on and off the field, as well as team goals.
First Parent Meeting
Introduce myself, my background, and my experience.
Set vision for program.
Review expectations I have for myself, the players, and parents.
Go over safety plan and philosophy
Review Calendars and important dates for the year.
